Great houses in a lovely setting with plenty to do in the area. The perfect place for a group or family to stay particularly if they plan on biking on the Ballyhoura mountain bike trails. The houses are well spaced in the forest setting, with loads of play areas for energetic kids (or adults!). The houses are kept spotlessly clean and you can expect a warm welcome from Ita. Highly recommended place to stay!
Had a fantastic weekend (6-8th sept). Houses are lovely and Ita was extremely helpful. We had two houses side by side and it worked out perfect. Would highly recommend the Forest Holiday Homes. Excellent location for mountain biking on the Ballyhoura trails.
18 of us stayed here at the weekend as part of a Mountain Bike team and wanted to be close to the Ballyhoura trails. Accommodation is fantastic with plenty of storage, comfy rooms, all amenities included - fridge, cooker, washing machine, power showers - everything a cyclist needs after a long day on the trails. The nearest village is 2-3 miles away and there's plenty of scope for a few scoops in the evening. Check out Molly's for a bite to eat too. Thanks for the weekend Ita!
September 1st Had a lovely few days in the holiday homes .very quiet and relaxing holiday. Houses are very comfortable and spacious, everything supplied. Thanks Ita for all your help and making it so pleasant. Would highly recommend them for a relaxing holiday.
We really enjoyed our stay in the log cabins. The area is beautiful with nearby walking and cycling trails. The cabins are ideal for a relaxing getaway . Thanks Ita for all your help in organising our stay we really appreciated it. Will be back again soon!!
July 5 - 7th 2013 Stayed Fri to Sun, 12 of us plus a baby, had fantastic time, fab accommodation, brilliant for kids, we had at least 4 kids plus visits from our extended family and their children. Ita was a brilliant host, she gave loads of local info and was on hand to help with anything we needed, looking forward to a return visit to a lovely, relaxing and interesting place in such lovely luxurious accommodation, thank you for making our celebratory weekend so easy and enjoyable.
Six of us stayed here for a wedding nearby. The cabin was really spacious with comfy beds and a nice big living area. Ita was very welcoming and helpful and couldn't have made the whole weekend easier for us. Thank you!
I stayed at the forest homes on the May weekend with a group of walkers from Galway. We were here for the Ballyhoura walking festival. I had never been here before. I have to say it is a hidden jewel, which is as nice as any part of Ireland. The homes were very comfortable, the setting tranquil and beautiful. I would recommend them to anybody for comfort and value. The towns around are well worth a visit.Thank You.
! Beautiful setting in the middle of the forest. Fabulous location for families, groups of friends. The Chalets have everything you need and are very high spec.We didn't want to leave ! Many thanks to Ita for ensuring our journey down was flawless and for providing info on the locality
We had a great week staying in Ballyorgan, love the setting, the houses and the area around it. Will defo be back and will recommend to friends. Thanks Ita for your help.
Had a great experience in Ballyhoura holiday homes. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the place was equipped. Everything you could ask for and more. I couldn't recommend the place enough. I'll definitely be back.
Ita is a wonderful lady! Although we were not technically staying in one of the holiday homes she represents, she nevertheless ensured that we were safe and warm until our hosts arrived (2 and a half hours later!). I am delighted to read so many glowing comments about her - she really is a treasure, and has clearly made a huge impact on many holiday makers. Thanks again, Ita! :)
I cant recommend these forest homes enough whether your mountian biking like we were, hill walking or just looking for a quiet time away. The homes have everything you need. Thanks Ita!
This was our second stay in the Ballyorgan...It is a fantastic base for mountain biking and the cottages have everything needed to make your stay as pleasant and as comfortable as possible...A special thanks to Ita for all her help and advice, we will certainly be back again!

Thank you Ita for your hospitality to a weary walker who crossed your path on a wet Saturday afternoon at the end of June. Rain does not take from the beauty of the setting or the warmth of your welcome. The coffee was great too.

DELIGHTED YOU HAD A GREAT TIME - WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU BACK. BALLYHOURA FOREST HOLIDAY HOMES
We had a fabulous stay in the Ballyhoura Forest Holiday Homes last weekend. The accomodation is very comfortable and the location is beautiful in the middle of the forest.
If you were considering a visit to the area I would recommend these holiday homes.
We (6) stayed in the Ballyhoura Forest Holiday Homes for the Ballyhoura Walking Festival and we will be back - great walks with the Ballyhoura way literally on the doorstep and waymarked walks in every direction. The houses are very comfortable with everything you could want. Even though we were in the lovely forest it was still only a five minute walk to the Pub. We visited the food festival in Kilmallock and enjoyed the sausages, cheese and jam. See you soon Ita. Regards, Catherine
We recently had a fortnight's holiday at the Ballyhoura Forest Holiday Homes. It was our 2nd stay there. The forest around the houses is perfect for cycling, walking and running. There's lots to do for kids. Our 9 year old took his bike, played in the forest, made dens, went to the wooden adventure playground & zip wire, played football on the nearby pitch, and generally spent almost the entire holiday out of doors.
The houses themselves are spacious, clean and with a traditional Irish peat fire, very warm.
Ita was always on hand to help with any queries, and to offer local tourist advice, and is a great advert for Trident.
As it was our 2nd stay there, we re-visited some of the places we'd enjoyed previously. Clonmel, Limerick, Tipperary and Cork are all within easy travelling distance, but the beautiful scenery on the doorstep, meant that most of our time was spent exploring locally.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR GREAT COMMENTS - WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU BACK AGAIN SOON. Ballyhoura Forest Holiday Homes.
I was staying with a few friends over the weekend. We had a great time and the house was totally comfortable. We are definitely coming back for another weekend!Thank you very much!

A Great place to locate for the Ballyhoura International Walking Festival! May 5-7th 2012 it is great for families or the more serious walker! Used them last year - must get organised!!!!
Had a great stay in Ballyhoura Holiday Homes recently just at the foot of the Ballyhouras. Magical indeed. We especially enjoyed the stroll down to the local pub in the adjacent village! We will be back and probably bring friends next time!!! It is a hidden treasure for Mountain Bikers, Walkers and Hikers alike!!! Thank you Ita!
