Fun for Kids and all the Family!

Children of all ages really enjoy their forest home with lots to do and parents love the quality time together and no shops. 

On-site there is a toddlers play area with seating nearby. Children of all ages enjoy the adventure play area, which nestles beneath the trees, while the young and young at heart swing on the basket and cableway, while teenagers meet at the teen scene. Exploring the forest and river allow for fun, cabby houses to great tig, freedom, scope to develop games and to sence the magic of the place.

There are many attractions free to visit: the Donkey Sanctuary near Liscarroll; Doneraile Park, with it’s herd of deer, open parkland, meandering Awbeg River, Georgian mansion and playground; the Limerick Animal Sanctuary, near Kilfinane which has numerous breeds of dogs and other animals; Griston Bog near Ballylanders, where plants, birds and wildlife can be seen and identified on the panels; Kilmallock mart, where farmers sell cattle each Monday. Charleville, Kilmallock and Mitchelstown have great childrens playgrounds.

For dinosaurus enthusiasts, there is a dinosaurus museum and Dyno Café in Castletownroche.  Parsons Green near Clogheen and Buttercup Farm near Croom offer farm visits, or visit the larger animals at Fota Wildlife Park.
